Tom Seaver
It's a dad day today. One of my Childhood Heroes is gone. The Great TOM SEAVER passed away this past Monday in Calistoga, California. He was 75 years old. Any sports fan will tell you Tom Seaver was one of the greatest pitchers in Major League Baseball History with 311 Win and an astonishing 3640 Strikeouts, Seaver was truly one of the greats.
Naturally Seaver is in The Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York. Tom Seaver, along with the great Walter Johnson are the only tow pitchers in Major League Baseball History to each have
330 plus Wins, 3,000 Strikeouts, and an ERA of less than 3.0 ...
Yes Tom Seaver was a great baseball player with many records and accolades, but most of all Tom was a gentleman and a wonderful human being. He will be dearly missed, and fondly remembered.
